What's at the One-Stop Manufacturing Program
Manufacturing is a fast-changing field that requires knowledgeable workers who constantly update their skills and methods.
In 2024 September, with the help of the SFEIA One-Stop Manufacturing Industry Training Program – an annual event co-hosted by CADVision Systems – engineers, machinists, and other industry professionals will have the skills needed to succeed in the cutting-edge manufacturing sector.

What the participants learned
In this immersive 3-day program, participants left with a deepened knowledge as well as the practical skills in computer aided design (CAD), computer aided manufacturing (CAM), & coordinate-measuring machine (CMM) inspection. Packed with both theoretical lessons and hands-on practices, the training delved deep into the following topics:

• SOLIDWORKS CAD – Part & Assembly
• CAM 2.5D Milling
• CAM iMachining
Day 2
• CAM High-Speed Surfacing
• CAM Turning
• CIMCO NC-Base – MDC & DNC
Day 3
• CMM Inspection
During the CAD & CAM training at CADVision Systems, participants refreshed their skills with our SOLIDWORKS Part & Assembly lessons, followed by an introduction to essential CAM techniques. Among the highlights was iMachining, a revolutionary skill that offers impressive cycle time savings and enhances tool life – a highly sought-after capability in today’s competitive landscape.
On the third and final day, Hexagon Measurement Technologies provided us insights into the latest CMM inspection solutions. The training shed light on the importance of integrating measurement solutions with design and production workflows to enhance accuracy and quality assurance.
